International Employer of Record Service

This is an International Employer of Record service. We can employ and payroll your workers internationally. We become the ‘Employer of Record’, meaning that we take care of the local HR compliance, payroll and reporting. This means that you can quickly and securely hire employees almost anywhere in the world whilst avoiding the overhead of establishing your own legal business entity. Scope of Service & On-boarding Process:
On-Boarding Roadmap:
1) Your entity and WE (the vendor) agree and execute the attached Framework Agreement. This would cover any engagement between our 2 companies, across any location.
2) We ask you to complete the employee(s) form(s) -
3) WE populates the Letter of Assignment (LOA) for the employee (signed by your entity and Shield). Sample attached.
4) WE provide a Letter of Intent (LOI) – this is not mandatory but provides an explanation of the engagement model between the 3 signatories – Ultimate Employer (your entity), Employer of Record (WE the vendor) and the Employee.
5) WE generates the local Employment Contract.
6) WE will then ask your Employee to complete a Client Information Sheet.
7) Your entity is assigned one Account Manager who will be both yours and employee’s single point of contact.
Payroll Process
Moving forward your assigned Account Manager will contact your designated internal contact on the 1st of each month regarding invoicing, enquiring if there are additional benefits/expense reimbursements to be included in that month’s payroll. We send your entity an invoice by the 7th for the payroll figures, we ask that this is paid by 15th of each month to ensure we have time to payroll your employee in country. Your employee will receive their net salary on the assigned payroll date along with a payslip. Your entity will also receive the payslip and monthly reporting.
FX
Our preference is to invoice you in local currency where possible.
Termination
If during our engagement you wish to terminate your employee, you need to liaise with us so we can advise of the correct procedure to ensure local compliance.
Contract Term
Our minimum contract term is 3 months, where no immigration support services are required and 6 months, where immigration support services are required. Once elapsed you can terminate our agreement with 30 days’ notice as long as that is compliant with local labor law.
